Pirate and the Bloody Bohemian are a dynamic duo from
Bella Coola, BC. From their tiny studio, “Box O’ Bones”,
Buddy Thatcher and Rose Clark write and record bold, truthful songs about the wonderful hells of existence.
Their latest single, “Warm Chilcotin Night”, demonstrates the limitless space in which they play, and their effortless love
of home.
They've released five singles, including “Allan” (semi-finalist on CBC Searchlight), and completed musical tours throughout BC, France, Switzerland, Germany, England, and Ireland.
Having been in previous bands together, Buddy and Rose recognized a potent creative space, and a common desire to be slightly off their rockers. So, for the love of performance and pirates, these two became a band in 2014 and have basked in things sweet and weird ever since.
